Lux seeked to establish Bath’s first dedicated boutique premium handbag and footwear independent

Taking reference from the brands stocked, such as Mulberry, Anya Hindmarch and Belstaff; the ambience had to reflect Sloane Street or New Bond Street, as Lux’s clientele had the same spending capacity. Most of these brands flagship stores keep a neutral backdrop injected with one concept thread that runs throughout.

Using a warm soft ivory colour for the walls, we selected a dark rich Tropical Bubinga hardwearing laminate floor to compliment the chocolate browns on the bags and boots. We developed freestanding illuminated showcases for the product, allowing there to be space in the boutique.

Ottoman chairs with ivory suede were chosen along with a dedicated tiered window display. To set the shop off, an intricate flower design was created for the window to create a real identity and femininity for the store.

Since opening the store has been highlighted in all the local style magazines and was credited by the regional AMG Footwear manager as one of the best independents to display UGGs in the country.
